Senteza “Sentie” Kironde is a multi-talented Ugandan chef who began cooking at the tender age of nine and inherited his love for the culinary arts from his family and dad, Apollo Kadumukasa Kironde II, a renowned chef. He received his Business degree and MBA both from Babson College which enabled him to enjoy a rewarding career in Finance but his calling was in the culinary arts.
Chef Sentie is the visionary behind Sentie’s Kitchen, a dynamic Ugandan catering and pop-up establishment proudly rooted in Boston’s vibrant culinary scene. As the driving force and owner of Sentie’s Kitchen, Chef Sentie leads with a passion for connecting communities through the universal language of food, culture, and music.
Renowned for his mastery of wood-smoked barbecue, Chef Sentie takes pride in sourcing the finest meats from local providers and infusing them with a symphony of exotic Ugandan herbs and spices. Each dish is meticulously crafted, with flavors that tell a compelling story of tradition and innovation.
